Announcements:

The 2018 Husky track and field season is fast approaching and we invite anyone interested to join us Monday, October 9 for day 1 of pre-season conditioning. Practice begins promptly at 3:30 p.m. in Husky Stadium on the track. We practice Monday – Wednesday – Thursday, and some Saturday’s. You will need running shoes, track spikes, sweat top and pants, running shorts and shirt. Additional information will be covered at practice. Though the pre-season conditioning is geared toward our sprinters, quarter-milers and hurdlers, everyone is welcome to participate! Please note, practice is rain or shine! See you at the track.

Women’s golf fell to Franklin. Kelly Vongphakdy and Marin Shupe were low scores for the Huskies.

Results:

Cross country competed in the Frogtown Invitational on Saturday.

Varsity Boys team took 1st place, and was led by Michael Ruiz, who won the 3 mile race. 

Varsity Girls team took 2nd place, and was led by Carmen Iturriaga, who finished in 3rd place. 

JV Boys team took 1st place, and was led by Vik Singh who finished in 2nd place on the 3 mile course.

JV Girls team took 1st place and was led by Emma Roybal & Winnie Guan, who finished in 5th & 6th place respectively.

Sophomore Boys team took 1st place, and was led by Miguel Ayala, Josh Vallejo & Evan Roybal, who finished in 4th, 6th & 8th place respectively in the 2 mile race.

Freshman Boys team took 5th place, and was led by Michael Benavidez & Kaney Le, who finished in 14th & 16th place respectively.

Frosh/Soph Girls team was led by Anna Giordano, who finished in 39th place overall.
